SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERCULTURAL SUMMER STUDIES IN RUSSIA 2019

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce for Russia and CIS in collaboration with AFS welcomes all students between the ages of 14-18 years to have a fantastic intercultural adventure this summer!

Working for intercultural development the Chamber of Commerce will subsidize half of the cost for the program and flight tickets for one very lucky candidate! For more information about AFS please visit their site here: https://www.afs.se/

The area of stay is in Klimovsk, a town near Moscow which is well known to AFS and has hosted many previous students over the past few years. The student will live with a Russian family which will be carefully chosen by AFS and will take part in formal language classes as well as excursions, cultural and sports activities with Russian peers. Students are not pre-required to know Russian language before travel. Please, download the document for more details.

Applications are accepted by March 15, 2019. The duration of the program is 28 days, departure date is 1st of July 2019 and return is 29th of July 2019.

Travel Logistics:

Humanitarian visa will be arranged.

AFS will organize transfer.

Upon Return:

The Chamber of Commerce will expect to receive a documentation of the Language & Cultural Exchange trip in the format of photographs and a written or orally presented summary. An option of a video summary is also available.
